Tanker Explosion at Barracks Bus Stop Ojo
As early as 6:45 am this morning a Tanker carrying exploded at Barrack bus-stop Ojo along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The explosion happened close to the Department of State Security Services (DSS) Office.
The Tanker was said to be loaded with Petrol and fell as a result of bad road. The falling of the Tanker caused the Petrol it was carrying to be spilled around and the spilling gave rise to the explosion that has taken the lives of many.
Cars that were close by were caught in the flames and some persons were burnt to death.
However, others who tried to escape from there cars sustained various degrees of injury.
The incident also caused heavy traffic along that axis.
Tanker explosion that killed scores of persons near Otedola estate was seen as the worst night mere to Lagosians and now this one has happened again.
We hope the Government provides a lasting solution to this menace of Tanker explosions caused by bad roads.
