LAA Commend ECOWAS’ Lift of Sanctions on Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger.

In a recent development, The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has lifted sanctions imposed on Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger. This decision, lauded by President of the League of African Ambassadors, Ambassador Nwannebuike OMINYI, reflects the collective commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.

Ambassador OMINYI, speaking through his Media Aide,Mr Iduma Chris Mayor on behalf of the League of African Ambassadors, commended the Chairperson of the ECOWAS Authority, H.E. Bola Ahmed TINUBU, and the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS for their decisive action. The lifting of sanctions underscores the premium placed on the welfare of African citizens and epitomizes the spirit of resilience and unity.

ECOWAS’s decision highlights the power of dialogue and collective action in resolving disputes and addressing challenges within the community. It emphasizes the importance of remaining united and engaged within the ECOWAS family to foster peace, stability, progress, and prosperity.
