Cross River – State APC Chairman Dies in Auto Crash
Dr.Matthew Achigbe, the State Chairman of the ‘All Progressive Congress (APC)’ is confirmed dead and is presently in the mortuary.
Mr. Matthew Achigbe was involved in an auto crash, which occurred along the Afrikpo road, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. While he was returning from a church programme in Enugu State, Nigeria.
During the early hours of Saturday the 17th of November 2018. Mr. Bassey, the State Publicity Secretary did not respond to the several attempted calls made. The Cross River State APC Vice-Chairman disclosed that the news approached as a rude shock to all the APC members. “He attended a Catholic knight programme, on his way back to Obubra Local Government Area, the incident occurred.
He was to be present at a meeting with the Cross River State APC leaders, Obubra LGA. Which were already present at his Household to commence the meeting before the arrival of such an unappealing news.
He died in an auto crash and no one has been able to make any comment for now. He died alongside others, who are yet to be identified.
