Kogi – Governor Aide Killed By Gunmen

Recently, the Kogi State Governor, Governor Yahaya Bello mourns over the death of his aide. Governor Yahaya Bello lost his aide by the name ‘Mr. Yusuf Adabenege’ the personal assistant to the governor on domestic matters’.

It was reported that he alongside other aides were killed when they were in a vehicle along Obehiraege road Okene.

We had it that Mr. Adabenege was ambushed by unknown gunmen at the front of a Living Faith Church in Okene by 6:40 pm on Friday, 16th November 2018.

Mr. Musa his driver was also reported dead, as gunmen fires at his vehicle while driving. Thereafter, Mr. Adabenege was dragged out of the vehicle and ambushed using a hand grenade which was hitten on his head.

The State Governor, Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello mourned the untimely death of his aide Mr. Adabenege in Ebira Community. After condoling the people of Ebira Community, he assures them of absolute security and concluded that the executors would be brought to book.
