Vote Buyers in Osun Arrested by Police

Vote buying in recent times have characterised Nigerian elections. The Elections going on in Osun State have been filled with a lot of Vote Buying.

According to the twitter handle of the Nigerian Police force, Two vote buyers have been arrested.

Read the statement below:

“Two (2) suspected vote buyers have been arrested by a team of police personnel on election duty at Iwo LGA of OSUN State and the sum of N604,000 recovered from their possession. Investigation is being intensified.”

The Nigerian Police Force did not also state which party the arrested vote buyers are from. They also did not say the names of the vote buyers nor who they represent at the time of filing this report.
