Scores Injured In Agege Train Accident [Breaking News]
In the early hours of today, they have been a report on social media of train accident that occurred in the Ashade Ram Market in Agege area of Lagos State.
From reports we gather, it appears that one of the train coaches veered off its tracks, thereby causing the other coaches to veer of also, which then led to the accident.
On November 16, 2017, and July 20th, 2018, a similar train accident occurred in Lagos State. The first one occurred around the abattoir area of Agege. That particular train accident injured a lot of people and left many dead.
The other accident occurred when a train ran into a Danfo Bus that had gotten in its way and left about nine-person dead.
At the time of filing this report, many have been injured but none has been reported dead.
Also, traffic along the Ikeja-Along—Iyana Ipaja axis was grounded to a standstill during the rush hour regular commute.
