NCDC Confirms a total of 26 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria
On the 5th of June 2021, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed a total of 120 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria at 12am. The reports are as follows:

This brings the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to a total of 166,756 cases of which 2117 have died and 162,994 individuals have been discharged.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control also shared that there were Seven states with 0 cases reported of which are: FCT, Nasarawa, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto and Taraba. NCDC also reported that there were 400 community recoveries from Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.

This makes the Lagos the state with the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria with a total of 59186 cases and Kogi the state with the lowest number of COVID-19 cases with a total of 5 cases.
Lagos, FCT, Kaduna, Plateau, Rivers, Oyo, Edo, Ogun, Kano and Ondo are recorded as the states with the highest numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria with a number of 59186, 19871, 9093, 9063, 7271, 6857, 4908, 4683, 3997 and 3311 cases respectively.
Niger, Bayelsa, Ekiti, Sokoto, Jigawa, Yobe, Kebbi, Cross River, Zamfara and Kogi are recorded as the states with the lowest numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases with a number of 935, 889, 876, 775, 532, 460, 450, 402, 244 and 5 cases respectively.
