Election Update: Atiku Abubakar cast his vote in Jada, Adamawa

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has exercised his franchise by voting at his country home in Jada, Adamawa State.

He participated in the 2019 Presidential and National Assembly election at the Jada Local Governement around 10;06 am but President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Former President Goodluck Jonathan all voted before him.

Atiku Abubakar was asked by journalist if he will accept outcome of the election. Unlike President Buhari who insist that he is going to win, former Vice President Atiku while expressing optimism said

“I am impressed with the turnout and I hope presiding officers will be able to cope with the turnout.

“I look forward to a successful transition, I am a Democrat and would accept the result.”

Atiku Abubakar was accompanied to the polling unit by his wife Titi Abubakar. He however did not peep on his wife ballot paper to confirm if she voted for him unlike President Muhammadu Buhari who was caught on camera peeping on his wife’s ballot paper in a process that was supposed to be personal and secret.

Atiku Abubakar is a husband of four wives and twenty-eight children.
