Biden Disowns Hamas and backs Israel strike’s account on Gaza hospital

The explosion caused by the Israeli air strikes has killed more than 200 people in Gaza according to the Health authorities in Hamas Hospital. The Israeli military authority accused Palestinian militants that it was the Islamic Jihad rocket that misfired and that they would provide evidence for it.

Joe Biden the US President paid a solidarity visit to Israel today Wednesday and supported the Israeli’s account of the Gaza hospital strike stating that Palestinian militants were the ones that caused the devastating hospital strike in Gaza.

The US president said in a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel in Tel Aviv: “I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday. And based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you.”

“But there’s a lot of people out there not sure so we have to overcome a lot of things. We have to bear in mind that Hamas does not represent all the Palestinian people and has brought them only suffering.” Biden added

Israel has threatened a ground invasion of Gaza following the devastating October 7 assault by Hamas militants. But Biden encouraged the Israeli Prime minister to ensure a ‘life-saving capacity to help the Palestinians who are innocent and caught in the middle of this’.

Biden said he was ‘proud’ to visit Israel. ‘I want to say to the people of Israel — their courage, their commitment, and their bravery is stunning.’

The Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, who announced Biden’s visit, ensured the US president that Israel is ready to work with the United States on plans to supply aid into Gaza, which has been blocked for 12 days and under an Israeli blockade for 16 years.

The Israeli prime minister, Netanyahu on the US president’s visit, hailed Joe Biden as ‘the first US president who visited Israel in a time of war’, despite the criticism he has faced from the rival Republican Party as pro-Israel. Netanyahu also called for global unity against Hamas.

He said: “There’s only one thing better than having a true friend like you standing with Israel and that is having you standing in Israel,”

“Just as the civilised world united to defeat the Nazis and united to defeat ISIS, the civilised world must unite and defeat Hamas,” Netanyahu added.

“I can assure you, Mr. President, Israel is united to defeat Hamas and we will defeat Hamas and remove this terrible threat.” He concluded.
