Bauchi man who drank gutter water is alive
Mr. Aliyu Mohammed Sani who hails from Bauchi State promised to drink water from gutter if President Muhammadu Buhari is announced as the winner of the Nigerian Presidential election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission announced President Buhari as the winner of the just concluded Presidential elections and Mr. Aliyu kept to his promise.
He drank the water from the drainage and social media went agog with the news of his death. The reports have it that he died from intestinal bleeding.
However, Mr. Aliyu Mohammed Sani has come out to say that he is not dead but alive.
Mr. Aliyu who is a painter in Bauchi State called the news been circulated on social media as fake.
“As I am talking to you now, I am on my way back to Bauchi after we finished a painting work somewhere outside Bauchi,” he said.
“It is true, I made the promise before the elections and I fulfilled it and I have no regrets,” he added.
