REBUTTAL. RE: Former Nigeria Ambassador To Zambia From Ebonyi State Hon. Nwanne Ominyi Committs Abomination Act, As He Impregnate His Wife’s Younger Sister.
Our attention has been drawn to a spurious article that can only be described as defamatory trash against the person of His Excellency Amb.Nwanne OMINYI, immediate past Nigeria High Commissioner to Republic of Zambia credited to one Sunday Nwaeze, President Umueze Progressive Council. Even though the organization and author of the piece are faceless, published by a blogger sundaynwaezeblogsport which was created for this purpose. The author falsely accused, Amb. Ominyi, of impregnating Oluchi Onwe, the Ambassador’s wife’s younger sister, who worked with them as a domestic staff in Zambia.
We wouldn’t have bothered responding to this baseless allegation, but to save the innocent public who may misconstrue our silence for admittance, I want to state unequivocally that these allegation is entirely false, a blackmail, and a political witch hunt existing only in the imagination of the author.
Our preliminary findings indicate that neither Hon Sunday Nwaeze nor Umueze Progressive Council exists in real-time. Instead, we have it on a good authority and hard evidences that one Engr Emmanuel ogai who was Oluchi’s Ex husband is the one behind the mask
This individual has a history as a serial blackmailer,he had back in 2020 confronted and harass those behind the nomination of Ambassador Nwanne as Ambassador nominee from Ebonyi State, claiming that it was his right to be nominated rather than Ominyi. He allegedly further colluded with unscrupulous elements to remove his name from the NYSC database to forestall his security clearance with hope that he will be used as a replacement if Ominyi is disqualified, but fortunately, the expertise of the DSS officials thwarted his selfish plans as they insisted that NYSC produce the hardcopy list containing the batch which his School sent the year of his NYSC service.
This latest attack on the person of the ambassador is merely a continuation of his evil strategies, driven by his ambition to become an Ambassador nominee primarily because on the news that the President is about to nominate new set of Ambassadors, whatever informed him that his Excellency is the one who would block his getting nominated is best known to him. It is the Ambassadors’ believe that power comes from God, and whoever he wishes he gives. “The race is not for the swift, nor the battle for the mighty but the Lord showeth mercy and to whom he will show mercy, he shows mercy”; therefore it is not for us to decide who should hold public office. While we recognize everyone’s right to pursue their ambitions, we take exception to damaging another person’s reputation in order to climb.
To set the record straight, the ambassador traveled to his post with four individuals, save his immediate family members, namely:
-Okechukwu Nwonwe, whom his Excellency facilitated his relocate to the US after his tenure ended.
_Miss Gladys Mbam_, whom he equally got American visa and will be traveling with the family to the US but currently in the same school with the Ambassadors ‘children
– _Ms Oluchi Onwe_, The Amb.’s wife’s sister and a mother of 3, whom the mastermind behind this malicious article dragged to Nigeria with court cases which made her miss the US Visa opportunity.
Late Idike Kenneth_, who passed away recently (may his soul rest in peace).
Except that the author does not believe that a woman should be given the opportunity to actualize herself meaningful, but be treated like a slave hence the baseless allegation
Our team of lawyers have been properly briefed and we hope that the accuser is armed with evidence to prove his claims.
I urge the public to disregard this mischievous material aimed at tarnishing his Excellency’s image. We regret the embarrassment this false accusation has caused his friends but be rest assured that we are not taking it lightly.
