Nigerian Army Stop Sowore and Other ENDSARS Protesters at Abuja Airport

Omoyele Sowore Twitted on Monday morning 2nd November 2020 that the Nigerian Military has stopped them from resuming the #Endsars protest in Abuja.

Sowore is a well known human rights activist and a pro-democracy campaigner who was a presidential aspirant in the 2015 Nigerian Presidential election and also the founder of Sahara Reporters.

He published a video of the incident on his Twitter handle and according to him, he twitted

“#Endsars The military was deployed to try to intimidate us as protests resumed in Abuja international airport where #Endsars graffiti was painted at departure and arrivals, however, we made it clear that we won’t back down. No going back! #RevolutionNow”

We will recall that the Nigerian Army was accused of being responsible for the Lekki Massacre that happened some weeks ago with video footage on social media showing the Nigerian Army actually doing the shooting.

However, The Nigerian Army officially denied their involvement in the Lekki Shooting, and a panel of inquiry has already been set by the Lagos State Government to look into the matter.
