Chimaroke Has Won Enugu East

Senator Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani who has served the People of Enugu State as Governor declared the interest to run for the Senatorial seat of Enugu East Senatorial Zone.

He is running under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. Yesterday the Peoples Democratic Party of Enugu State held a peaceful Party Primaries.

The Election was declared free and fair and void of violence nor annulment of votes. Chimaroke was in the race alongside other contestants and at the end of the exercise, Chimaroke Namani was declared the winner with a total of 597 votes.
