Top Israeli Content Creator and Activist Shares Photos of Eri Festival

Hananya Naftali an Israeli content creator and a popular activist who promotes Israeli’s agenda and policies has taken to his Facebook account to share exciting moments of the Eri festival held at Enugwu Aguleri
in Anambra State.

Eri is considered the ancestral home of the Igbos. The Igbos of Nigeria are mainly domiciled in the five states of South Eastern Nigeria which are Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, and Imo States.

The Eri festival is usually held once every year at Obu-Gad in Enugwu Aguleri. The 2021 Eri Festival was held with much funfair.

Writing about the event, Hananya Naftali wrote

“The Igbo descendants of Israel are celebrating the Eri Festival.
It is an Ancient Igbo festival celebrated by Ezeora Kings at Obu-Gad in Enugwu Aguleri.
This remarkable festival has been observed from the ancient times in memory of Eri’s journey and subsequent settlement in Igboland. This ancient tradition is magnificent.”
