Chris Okotie had made three previous failed attempts in 2003, 2007 and 2011. He also wrote a letter to the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to adopt him as their consensus candidate.
From all indication, Rev Chris Okotie is running for the Presidential election under the platform of the Fresh Democratic Party.
