Popular Nollywood Actress, Ada Ameh confirmed dead

 

Ada Ameh, a popular nollywood actress has been confirmed dead.

The actress who played the role of Emu in the African Magic family sitcom, the Johnsons’ died on Sunday evening.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Emeka Rollas, the President of Actors’ guild of Nigeria confirmed the news.

Although there are rumors that the actress died on Sunday evening in an hospital in Delta state.

It has been reported that she collapsed and died at 11:00pm on Sunday in Warri, Delta State.

Sources claim that the actress was a guest at a petroleum company worker and his family home in Delta state before she died on Sunday.

It was gathered that she died while being rushed to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Hospital.

The NNPC hospital is yet to make an autopsy report on Ada Ameh’s sudden death and the Delta state Police PRO DSP Bright Edafe could not be reach for further comments on the actress’ death.

Earlier, Ada Ameh had spoken on her health challenges, she said, “Everything is going to be fine. I have an issue right now, and it’s taking my life. I will not die. We will get over it.”

She explained that she was given a work but could not execute it because of her mental health challenge.

The actress had also revealed that she got pregnant with her daughter at the age of thirteen (13).

She explained the reason was being introduced to sex by her peers at an early age.

Despite her early motherhood, in October 2020, the 48 year old Actress lost her 30 Year old daughter, Aladi Gift during an unsuccessful surgery in Abuja.

Last year, she visited her daughter’s grave to mark a one year remembrance. She also celebrated her daughter on the latter’s posthumous birthday.
