Kalu’s importance underlined as Rohr names squad for Libya
Samuel Kalu, whom just recently signed for French first division Bordeaux, from Belgium giant club KAA Gent has enjoyed a wonderful footballing career so far in Europe, scoring and providing for his teammates to score too as he runs in from his favorite wide sides of the field.
The Bordeaux number 10, and also a 2 time caps with his country Nigeria was seen as a direct replacement for the National team retired Victor Moses just a while ago, he made his National team debut against Seychelles in September, and further featured in a friendly against Liberia.
The world has waited patiently for the 21 year old to get an invitation from his country, and the chance came, and when it came, he seized that chance perfectly well, as he started in his debut match for his country and played more than 70 minutes in the game that Nigerians were so excited to see how talented a footballer he is, before he was given a bow.
And for the second time running, he has been trusted again to come in and do the job for his Country against Libya.
