Just In: Two Nigerian-American wins seats in the US Election

In the keenly contested 2020 US Election of the Incumbent President Donald Trump and Joe Biden, two Nigerian-American have reported been elected.

Esther Agbaje and Oye Owolewa are the two Nigerian-Americans who were elected.

Esther Agbaje who is aged 35 and has a law degree from Harvard University was elected into the House of Representatives, representing the state of Minnesota.

Oye Owolewa was elected as a Democrat representing Washington D.C and he is the first Nigerian-American to be elected into the US Congress.
