How An Islamic Cleric Was Caught On Camera Defiling A 5 Years Old Girl

An Islamic Cleric by the name Abdulsalam Salaudeen has been arrested by the operative of the Lagos State Police Command over the alleged crime of defiling a five-year-old girl in Lagos. Islamic Clerics in Lagos State are popularly called Alfa.

Abdulsalam who is 43 years of age was caught pants down on a video that was secretly recorded as he penetrated the anus of the five years victim thereby having carnal knowledge of her.

The Islamic Cleric was supposed to be teaching the five years old girl Islamic studies but in this instance, he was caught doing otherwise.

The secretly recorded video was presented to Mr. Edgal Imohimi the Lagos State Police commissioner, who after watching the footage was deeply saddened and immediately dispatched some undercover operatives of the Police force to go after the Alfa.

CSP Chike Oti the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer said the footage was brought to them at the Lagos  State Police Command Headquarters on  28 December 2018 by a good samaritan and thereafter sought the audience of the Lagos State Police Commissioner.

The undercover operatives that were sent to go after the Islamic Cleric succeeded in arresting him near a mosque in the Igando Area of Lagos State. He was there handed over to the gender unit of the Lagos State Police Command.

The Gender Unit officer in Charge ASP Abimbola Williams confronted him with the footage in which he was filmed penetrating the anus and private part of the innocent five years old girl. Upon seeing the footage, Abdulsalam broke down in tears and owned up to the crime. He later disclosed his address to be 16  Awoyemi Street, Igando Road, Ikotun, Lagos.

CSP Chike Oti said the case would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded. He further commended the courageous informant and admonished parents and guardians to keep a close watch on there children and wards as nobody could be trusted.
