Gunmen suspected to be bandits abducted five female students from the Federal University, Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) located in Katsina State, Nigeria.On Wednesday morning,
Reports indicate that the students were taken from their residence, which is situated behind Mariamoh Ajiri Memorial International School along Tsaskiya Road, at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Numerous sources, including university staff and students, have confirmed this incident.
According to one source, the bandits, armed with dangerous weapons, forcefully abducted the students from their residence along Tsaskiya Road.
The Katsina State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, has also confirmed the abduction. He mentioned that some suspects have been apprehended in connection with the case.
Furthermore, he stated that an ongoing investigation is in progress to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and to ensure the safe release of the abducted students.
