Atiku rolls out five-point agenda for Nigeria ahead of 2023 elections

Former vice-president and PDP presidential aspirant, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has disclosed his five-point agenda for Nigeria if elected president in the forthcoming general election of 2023.

The 2019 flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party for the presidential race and businessman popularly known as the ‘unifier’ has promised to tackle the country’s economic challenges, unemployment, security crisis, and other problems threatening the country.

According to the former vice-president, he led the economic management team that designed Nigeria’s private sector revival strategy which opened the Nigerian economy for private-sector investment.

He promised Nigerians that if elected president he would put in his experiences to fill the leadership vacuum much needed in the country and also revamp the country’s economic and political landscape.

The five-point  agenda of the former vice-president was released on his official Twitter page on Thursday and was contained in a policy document released on Wednesday from his campaign office in Abuja, It reads:

• Restore Nigeria’s unity through equity, social justice and co-operation.

• Establish a strong and effective government that guarantees the safety and security of life and property.

• Build a strong, resilient and prosperous economy that creates jobs and lifts people out of poverty.

• Promote a true federal system which will provide a strong federal government to guarantee national unity while allowing the federating units to set their own priorities Spearhead education reforms so that it is driven by innovation, science and technology.
