Two Witnesses Die After Giving Vital Information In Court Against Nyako

Two witnesses were confirmed dead by the EFCC during an investigation process after they have disclosed crucial information in the Law court.

The former Governor of Adamawa State”Governor Nyako, is currently facing a court case of N22.9 billion fraud case by the Anti-Graft Agency.

The Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) reported lately that two witnesses who gave vital information in the court relating to the N22.9 billion fraud case were found dead in custody.

It was reported to the Justice of the High Court, Justice Okon Abang by a detective by the name Adekunle Odofin on tuesday 27th of november 2018. That the two witnesses who were vital personnel in the prosecution of the case were found dead after they had given meaningful information during the investigation.

Governor Nyako and his sons Sen Abdul-aziz Nyako, Zulkitikk Abb and Abubakar Aliyu, are being prosecuted by the EFCC on a charge of money laundering to the rate N22.9billion. Also, numerable Companies of over five(5) were equally charged to the Law Court as the 5th and 9th defendant due to their involvement in the illegal diversion of the fund.

Haven heared from the two witnesses before their untimely demise, the case was further adjourned by the Judge to Thursday 29th of november 2018.
