Tinubu, Co-owner of company that produced PVC for the 2019 Election
A document that was published on the Nigerian Democracy Defence Watch on 5th of January 2019 has revealed that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the former Governor of Lagos State and leader of the All Progressive Congress APC is a co-owner of ACT Technologies that produced the Permanent Voters Card that will be used for the 2019 General election.
In the statement that was signed by Mohammed Musa Wali the National Coordinator of Nigerian Democracy Defense Watch and Prince Ademola Akande the National Secretary claimed that the APC intends to rig the 2019 General Election using Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a political operative for the Presidency.
“Tinubu’s game plan is simple: pulverize the opposition, use his co-ownership of ACT Technologies that produced and configured INEC’s PVC and Card Readers system to rig the 16th February 2019 Presidential Election, hope for Buhari’s permanent incapacitation or even death in office, have his surrogate Prof Yemi Osinbajo installed as President and rule Nigeria by proxy” the statement said.
The article that was addressed to Ketil Karise the Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Nigerian and Ecowas also highlighted other strategize the APC intends to use in rigging the 2019 Presidential Election.
W will recall that before the 2015 Presidential election, INEC under the leadership of Prof Attahiru Jega paid ACT Technologies N2.6 Billion through JAIZ Bank and FCMB to produce 68.8 million PVC within 7 months at N65 per unit. The contract was further sub-contracted to a Chinese firm by ACT Technologies.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been reported to be sick and is receiving treatment at a German hospital for an undisclosed illness.
