Reasons Why Atiku Abubakar’s Wife Took Campaign To Onitsha

The wife of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP Presidential candidate for the 2019 elections. Mrs. Jennifer Jamilah Abubakar in a visit to the palace of the Traditional Ruler of Onitsha town urged the residence of Onitsha to vote and support her husband for the forthcoming Presidential election.

At her courtesy visit to the Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe the traditional ruler of Onitsha, which was on Tuesday 19th of
December 2018 she stated that

“I am here to re-inform you that my Husband your in-law Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is contesting for the forthcoming general election, and he needs all your support to win”

“He is my Husband and I am your daughter, please don’t let us down, we need your absolute support”.

The wife of the PDP Presidential candidate was accompanied by Mrs. Margret Obi the wife of the PDP Vice Presidential Candidate Mr. Peter Obi. They both pleaded. She added that the PDP is the Government that would guarantee the longed desired welfare, the social, economic and political development of the country.

Nevertheless, the Obi of the land commended Mrs. Jennifer for her collective efforts of visiting the Palace and the village as well and said that it would be a good development if their in-law Alhaji Abubakar emerges as the President.

It was further assured to the people by the PDP candidate of Onitsha South Constituency, by the name Mr. Jude Omennajiego, that the People Democratic Party (PDP) would guarantee the people their dividends if elected to office.
