After the ambush of the former Chief of Defense Staff, who was allegedly killed in a vehicle on his way while returning from his farm along Abuja-keffi road.
The Director of Police Relation and Information of Nigeria Air force, Air commodore Ibikunle Daramola disclosed the sad news on Twitter.
His statement written below:
“We feel very pained and ungrateful to announce the untimely and unfortunate demise of the former chief of defence staff, chief Marshal Alex Badeh who die on the 18th of December 2018. After he was attacked and had received several gunshots on his way back from visiting his farm along Abuja Keffi Road”.
He further added “on behalf of the air men and air woman of the Nigerian Air force . The chief of Air forces commiserates with the family of the Late former chief of defence staff over the unfortunate demise of the chief of air staff. We so pray that God almighty would grant his soul enternal rest”.
The content of the tweet was later sent to PREMIUM TIMES by the air force spokesperson, Ibikunle Daramola, an air commodore.
The Tweet by Ibikunle Daramola was later sent to Premium Times. Meanwhile, Chief Marshal Alex Badeh before his death was being prosecuted for alleged N3.9 billion fraud while in office during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
In another report from Vanguard Newspaper, two of Alex Badeh aides were kidnapped after he was shot by the assassinators.
