OBIdients Suffers Major Setback As Court Dismisses Suit on 25% in FCT

A story emerging from Abuja Federal High Court says that Justice Inyang Ekwo has struck out a suit filed to stop the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu as Nigeria’s 16th President. According to the report, the dismissed suit was filed by five residents of the Federal Capital Territory.
Justice Ekwo also ordered the lawyer of the five Abuja residents, Chuks Nwachukwu to pay the sum of N10m each to the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

Recall that the All Progressive Congress, APC and The People’s Democratic Party, PDP failed to gather up to 25% of the total votes in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, in the February 25 Presidential election.
