Nigerian Becomes A Judge In United States
EDIRIN O OKOLOKO a Nigerian from Delta State has been sworn in as the Judge of the Snohomish County Superior Court in the State of Washington US
Edirin will replace Judge George Bowden who will be retiring.
Edirin obtained his Bachelor of Law from the University of Benin in Nigeria.
He also received a Law degree from Seattle University School of Law.
After his law degree, he has worked for 13 years in Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
He worked as the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney on homicide, Sexual Assault, Child Abuse and Elder Abuse Cases.
Before becoming a Prosecutor, Edirin served as a Judicial Law clerk for the former Snohomish County Superior
Court Judge Michael Downes
Edirin hails from the Urhobo extraction of Delta State Nigeria.
