NIGERIA PLAYER BREAKS A LEAGUE RECORD
Rabiu Alí hits the Centurion
The Nigeria International and the Kano Pillars forward, Rabiu Ali has become the first player to attained an hundred goals milestone in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
Rabiu Alí reached the landmark after he scored an equalizing goal on Sunday via the spot against Enyimba FC on Match day 25 of the NPFL.
Ali, who also lead the scoring chart of the Nigeria Professional Football League this season, with ten goals has expressed gratitude in breaking the milestone.
The 41 year old thanked Allah for his achievements and also thanking his team mates. His team mate, Ahmed Musa also congratulated him on setting the new record.
He also noted that his team can’t afford to slip their chances with the Title race getting more strong.
Ahmed Musa who is currently with the rest Super Eagles squad for a national assignment in Austria has set praises on the International forward.
Ali has become the first player to play for only one club in the NPFL, to scored 100 goals. After becoming the first player in the history of the League, to reached 100 goals. He also become the first player to reach the figures with a single Club, Kano Pillars.
Many fans of the Club also congratulated their skip in achieving this fit and also will support the Club to win the NPFL title.
The team are also yet to be defeated in the last nine games, makes it ten with the win over Enyimba FC.
Kano Pillars will now be leaving the comfort of their home to play the riverside in Rivers State, Rivers United on Wednesday of the Match day 26 of Nigeria Professional Football League.
The northern side stays on the top of the log with forty eight points with Akwa United coming closely with forty six points with 13 more matches to go.
