League of African Ambassadors Mourns the Passing of Namibian President H.E. Dr. Hage G. Geingob.

The League of African Ambassadors has expressed its deepest condolences to the Acting President, H.E. Dr. Nangolo Mbumba, and the people of Namibia following the passing of President H.E. Dr. Hage G. Geingob.
The President of the League in his message of condolence which was released to the press today, Sunday 4th February 2024 described President Gringob as a visionary leader who was committed to the peace and development of not only Namibia but the entire African Continent.
“President Geingob’s legacy as a visionary leader has left an indelible mark on Namibia and the African continent. His unwavering commitment to peace, development, and unity has garnered admiration both domestically and internationally.
Throughout his tenure, President Geingob’s dedication to socioeconomic progress, good governance, and regional cooperation significantly contributed to Namibia’s advancement and the realization of Africa’s collective aspirations.
As we mourn the loss of President Geingob, we also celebrate his enduring legacy and profound contributions to our continent. May his soul find eternal rest, and may his exemplary leadership continue to inspire generations to come.
The League of African Ambassadors stands in solidarity with the government and the people of Namibia during this challenging time.”
