Ganduje, Lawmakers in Closed-Door Meeting Over Impeachment Saga

 

Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, is holding a closed-door meeting with a delegation of aggrieved lawmakers of the Ondo State House of Assembly and members of the reconciliation committee set up to resolve the tension causing the impeachment of Lucky Ayiedatiwa, the state deputy governor,

The members of this delegation arrived at about 1.25 p.m. at the APC national secretariat in a large convoy, with stern-looking security operatives.

Ganduje established this committee to resolve the political tension between the warring parties,
the committee engaged all contending partners to get facts and all issues involved in the lingering impeachment process of Lucky Ayiedatiwa, the Ondo State deputy governor.
They were to advise the party on the rightful ways to handle the lingering problems and make recommendations that were necessary to the Party for quick resolution on issues as well as other matters that may arise as a result of this assignment.

The Members of the committee consist of Aminu Masari as chairman and others such as Adegboyega Oyetola, Minister of Marine; Senator Jack Tilley Gyado; Senator Tanko Al-Makura; Martin Elechi, Mohammed Abubakar.
