From 23 Presidential aspirants to one flag bearer; Here are the results
A winner has finally emerged from the APC presidential primary ongoing at the Eagle Square in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The voting exercise was carried out yesterday, and the results were counted this morning.
Twenty-three presidential aspirants of the All Progressive Congress APC arrived at Eagle Square for the most anticipated party ticket.
Before the commencement of the voting exercise by delegates, some of the presidential aspirants stepped down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Prof. Yemi Osibanjo respectively.
For Bola Tinubu, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Governor Kayode Fayemi, Ibikunle Amosun, Dimeji Bankole, Abubakar Badaru, Senator Ajayi Boroffice, and Uju Ken-Ohaneye (the only female aspirant in the race) stepped down in his support.
For Professor Yemi Osinbajo, pastor Nicholas Felix stepped down in support of him.

The former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been declared the party’s ticket bearer.
He will have to battle it out with other top contenders including Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party for the seat of Nigeria’s president in the forthcoming general election of 2023.
The election has been slated for 12th February 2023.
