A fire outbreak has been reported at the Margret Umahi International Market Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
Top Trends Nigeria learnt that the fire outbreak at Ebonyi International Market engulfed the lot one section of the market had destroyed properties worth millions of Naria before the men of the Nigeria Fire Service could take control of the situation.
One of the traders who spoke to our reporter on anonymity said the fire affected mainly warehouses at Lot One of the International Market where people’s goods were stored.
She, however, thanked the Men of the Nigeria fire service for what she called a prompt response which prevented the inferno’s escalation.
The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filling this report.
