Election Update: Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District (Ikot Ekpene) [Result]

They have been rumors based on the circulation of unverified result of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District which happens to be the Senatorial District of the Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and the Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Godswill Akpabio.

The Unverified results indicates that Sen Godswill Akpabio did not win his Senatorial bid.

We will recall that Sen. Godswill Akpabio contested for the Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District (Ikot Ekpene) in 2015 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but in the 2019 National Assembly election, he contested under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC)

However, the Independent National Electoral Commission are the ones authorized to announce election results, until they do, the current reports that Sen Godswill Akpabio lost his Senatorial bid remains untrue and unverified.
