Church Mourns As Iconic Gospel Minister Is Laid To Rest

Famous Gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, who died few months ago as a result of an abusive marriage will be laid to rest on the 25th of June, 2022. After several weeks of waiting, the family finally stepped forward to announce her burial date.

Although her autopsy is yet to be made public, people believe that the late singer, popularly known for her ‘Ekwueme’ was killed as a result of maltreatment and beatings from her husband, Mr. Peter Nwachukwu. This was confirmed by close relatives and associates. People believe strongly that the autopsy result will be in alignment with the news of her being beaten brutally by her husband.

In another development, the Federal Government has charged the late 42-year-old’s husband with 23 count charges for brutalizing his wife and allegedly beating his children while recording their cries on his phone.

According to the family, the burial will take place in her hometown, Amaokpoke Umuaku, Isuochi in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia state. The children of the late singer have been taken custody of by her family and will be sent to Enugu state to stay with their Grandmother, as well as to receive counseling.
