BREAKING: Supreme Court Nullifies Election Of Ihedioha, Declares Hope Uzodinma Imo Governor
In long-anticipated news for today, the Supreme court has nullified the victory of Emeka Ihedioha and has declared Senator Hope Uzodinma validly elected Governor of Imo state.
On Tuesday, a seven-man panel of the supreme court led by Tanko Muhammed the Chief Justice of Nigeria, has collectively declared Hope Uzodinma the winner of the Imo State gubernatorial election that was held on March 9, 2019.
Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun while reading the judgment ordered that the certificate of return issued to Emeka Ihedioha be withdrawn immediately and that a fresh certificate of return be issued to Hope Uzodinma.
He added that Hope Uzodinma be sworn in immediately ad the Governor of Imo State.
We will recall that the controversial cleric Rev Fr. Mbaka had earlier on predicted the victory of Sen Hope Uzodinma at the supreme court.
