Breaking News: Primeboy Arrested Over Mohbad’s Dead
The Lagos State Police has announced the arrest of Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy over the death of Afrobeats musician, MohBad.
The Lagos State Police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this in a tweet on X (Twitter) handle on Thursday.
However, Primeboy has turned himself in and has been taken into custody according to Hundeyin.
“Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions,” Hundeyin said.
“The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad, and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation. The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice,” he added.”
Recall that The Lagos State Police Command has declared Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, wanted in connection with the circumstances surrounding the death of another singer, Oladimeji IleriOluwa, known as Mohbad few days ago.
The police decision to declare Primeboy wanted comes after he failed to respond to a police invitation regarding the investigation into Mohbad’s death.
According to a statement from the Police Command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the police had extended an invitation to Primeboy since the beginning of the investigation, but he chose not to comply with the invitation.
