Police Arrest A Native Doctor Who Prepares ‘Odieshi’ For IPOB/ESN.
Imo State Police Command said to have arrested a 65-year-old Ezugo Ordu from Ubachima, Omuma, Oru West LGA of Imo State, who is accused of preparing charms for the members of Eastern Security Network (ESN).
The proscribed group, IPOBs with its armed wing, ESN have been accused of attacking security operatives and government’s properties in the state . The members of the group are highly hunted for by the security agencies of the state .
According to the police report, the native doctor, Ezeugo Udu confessed to have been behind the fortification of the members of the group , ESN with his ‘odieshi’ and was also aware of the attack on Gov. Hope Uzodinma’s home and police stations in the state.
In a statement signed by the Imo State’s Police spokesperson,Bala Elkana, the intelligence team of the Imo State Command after a thorough investigation arrested the native doctor and other criminals in a bush near Njaba River .
He also noted that the native doctor and the suspected 9 arrested ESN members were planning another attack in the state before they were arrested and their charms seized .
SP Elkana also urged the unknown gunmen who are bent on attacking security men and looting of arms to willing surrender themselves to the authority in order to get a soft judgement, or they await police arrest and face the law .

The gunmen suspected to be members of IPOB’s arm wing , Eastern Security Network ( ESN) attacked Police checkpoints on Sunday and got repulsed by the police and they turned to home of a Commissioner of the state and razed it .
On Tuesday, police stormed the gunmen hideout, razed it and rescued a police woman who was allegedly abducted by the gunmen in one of their operations.
