14-Year-Old Notorious Armed Robber Arrested in Delta, Firearms Recovered

The police in Delta State have apprehended a notorious armed robber named Goodluck and a member of his criminal gang, a fourteen-year-old boy named Gift.

Goodluck was captured in Marine Quarters, Warri, while other members of their criminal gang fled the town upon hearing about Gift’s arrest. The suspect, who has been transferred to the State Police Command, is alleged to have terrorized Warri and its surroundings.

Gift, the fourteen-year-old, confessed to being the gang leader during his arrest, which was conducted by the Vigilante group, who subsequently handed him over to the Police. He admitted to having killed six individuals, including a Vigilante member who was recently murdered during an armed robbery operation at the 1st Marine Gate.

During the arrest, the police recovered three firearms from the suspects. When contacted for comments, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, stated that he intends to issue a statement on the matter.
