WhatsApp is Down But Now Resolved
Earlier today, Down detector received thousands of reports that Whatsapp is down.
The issue seams to have lasted for about one hour.
To those affected, about 59% experienced connection issues and about 22% had problems receiving messages.
Mostly Whatsapp users in the UK, Europe and US were among those that experienced the issue.
However, Some WhatsApp users have taken to Twitter to report the issue.

Whatsapp was designed with the Erlang programming language. Whatsapp has about 1.5billion users and handles up to 60 billion messages daily.
