UPDATES: Hope Uzodinma Wins Imo Governorship Election
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday declared Hope Uzodimma, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the winner of last Saturday’s governorship election.
Abayomi Fasina, the INEC state collation and returning officer, disclosed that the candidate of the APC, Uzodimma got 540,308 votes.
However, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, came second with a total vote of 71,503.
The governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Senator Athan Achonu came third with a total number of votes OF 64, of 081
