Two Killed as Bandits Attack Kaduna Mosque
The Mosque at the Ga Allah Babba area of the Sabon Layi community, in Birnin-Gwari local government area of Kaduna State was on Tuesday attacked by Bandits killing the Imam and a worshipper.
It was disclosed to the Journalists that many worshippers were injured during the attack by the hoodlums. The Kaduna Police Command is yet to react to the attack as of the time of this report.
Meanwhile, a source who spoke on the condition of anonymity said Bilya Mairabo and Ashiru Mairabo were injured while Malam Mamuda, the Imam of the mosque, and one Kabiru was killed when the bandits attacked the worshipers by opening fire on them.
Ibrahim Abubakar Maigwari, the Chairman of Birnin-Gwari Vanguard for Security and Good Governance, in a statement, disclosed that: “almost on a daily basis, terrorists are on patrol across the entire Birnin-Gwari local government area, killing and abducting innocent citizens.
“The situation is more worrisome on the Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna highway and has become a nightmare for travelers,” he concluded.
