Singer Darey Art Alade And Wife Survives Car Fire on Lagos’ 3rd Mainland Bridge
LAGOS – Nigerian singer Darey Art Alade and his wife, Deola Art Alade, narrowly escaped tragedy after their car burst into flames on the 3rd Mainland Bridge yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m., completely destroying the vehicle, but no fatalities were reported. Deola Art Alade recounted the ordeal in an emotional Instagram post, describing it as a “shocking and painful experience.” She expressed gratitude that their driver escaped unharmed.

“Moments like this remind us how quickly life can change,” she wrote, stressing that material losses pale in comparison to the preservation of life. Deola Art Alade clarified that her post was not for sympathy but to encourage others facing sudden adversity.
The couple praised those who rushed to help, ending their statement with a fervent declaration: “THANK YOU JESUS!! We give thanks in all things. Thank you to everyone who stopped to help.”
Authorities have yet to confirm the cause of the fire.
