SARS Reforms will not be cosmetics – Frank Mba
The new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Frank Mba was live at Channels Television morning Program called Sunrise daily. He replaced Jimoh Moshood the former PPRO.
He was speaking about the Issue concerning the Reforms going on with the State Anti Robbery Squad (SARS)
Speaking he said,
“Reforms on SARS is not going to be cosmetic, what we are doing now is to correct the abnormality, restore order and bring the Police closer to the people ”
We will recall that the Past Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris centralized SARS and renamed it FSARS which means Federal SARS, the changes came after the clamor by Nigerians on the illegal activities of SARS to the extent that a campaign #ENDSARS was embarked upon by Nigerians on Social media.
The new IG of Police Mohammed Adamu came into office and in his inaugural meeting with State Commissioners of Police, he returned SARS back to the State Commissioners.
They have been various reactions by Nigerians because of the decision by the new IG of Police.
Frank Mba the New PPRO was at Channels Television to clear the air on that.
However, Nigerians anticipate that the current SARS will not be what it used to be thereby confirming their fears.

So the @PoliceNG had someone like Frank Mba yet it appointed Jimoh Moshood as Force PRO?
Even if you don’t like the Nigeria Police, listening to Frank Mba is refreshing and a breath of fresh air
It is high time security agencies stop appointing charlatans as spokespersons.
