Rivers – 2 Males Beheaded in Choba Community

Fear captured the residents of Obor, Akpor local government area. As they woke up discovering two human heads at a junction in Choba community, Rivers State.

A source disclosed that the residents woke up yesterday morning discovering beheaded parts of two males at a popular junction in  Choba community.

The state Police command considered the incident to be related to the recent supremacy fight among several
cult groups. Because it was heard that several killings and criminal activities were currently occurring in the area.

However, the police gathered that bodies of beheaded men were discovered around Ogor street along Igbogo road, River State, in addition with the heads found at Choba junction.

These bodies were yet to be identified, as police pick body parts for investigations. The chairman of Choba Community said to the newsmen “we woke up an saw two heads at the junction, couldn’t identify them because they had no bodies” he further urged the security operatives to work harder in other to end the senseless killing.

Mr. Nnamdi Omoni, State Public relations officer confirmed the victims to be the member of a secret cult called “Deygbam “. When their bodies were identified, they immediately rushed it to the mortuary.

It was reported that there was a cult clash between the Icelander’s and the Deygbam, and the Icelander’s were able to kill several Deygbam members with which the decease were victims.
