New Speaker Emerges As Governor Fubara Approves the Suspension of Chief Judge

An emerging story following the political tussle in River State between the incumbent Governor Simi Fubara and Former Governor Nyesom Wike has taken a new dimension as a new speaker emerges.

This move according to analysts is to forestall the impeachment of the Governor, the former Majority leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Edison Ehie has emerged the speaker of the house.

Accordingly, The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Simeon Amadi has been suspended while a new speaker for the house of assembly has emerged.

The lawmakers allegedly loyal to former governor Nyesom Wike had commenced plot to impeach Governor Simi Fubara who has fallen out with him.
