There is tension in the ruling All Progressive Congress{APC} as the governor of Imo State who is a chieftain of the party has concluded plan to work against the party in the forth coming election general election in Nigeria.
Governor Rochas Okorocha had claimed that the National Leadership of the party led by Formal Governor of Edo state, Mr Adams Oshiomole has been frustrating his ambition.
Okorocha also expressed his disappointment over what he called a careless utterance made by the acting publicity secretary of the party, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, who described Governor Okorocha as a bad loser in respect of the governorship primaries of the party where Okorocha’s son inlaw lost out.
A source who spoke with newsmen said Okorocha and his supporters in Imo state has concluded plan to work against the party in the forth coming general election unless the party leadership handed over the party’s governorship ticket to his son inlaw.
The governor maintained that he invested much to grow the party not only in Imo state but in south east as a whole and as much should be respected by the party national leadership.
“APC will loose in Imo if they try us, they should not joke with us”
The insisted that the primary conducted by Ahmed Gulak-led committee was cancelled and should remain cancelled.
