The incident occurred on a fateful Monday at a Guest House in the Temidire community, situated in the Offa Garage area of Ilorin. Eyewitnesses revealed that the young lady grew fatigued during their encounter and, devastatingly, succumbed to her exhaustion. Her boyfriend raised an alarm when she lost consciousness, drawing the attention of the guest house staff.

Following the report of the incident to the Police ‘A’ Division in Ilorin by the guest house owner, the middle-aged man was apprehended. The spokesman for the state police command, Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the tragic occurrence and the subsequent arrest, stating, “The state police command has arrested the man involved while full investigations have commenced to know what actually happened between the man and the deceased.”
