UEFA has confirmed Stéphanie Frappart as the referee for the Super Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea on 14 August 2019.
She makes history by becoming the first official female referee to officiate a major men’s UEFA match.
Stéphanie Frappart is a French football referee who was born on the 14th of December 1983.
She has been on the FIFA International Referees List since 2009 and has refereed several high-profile matches.
Since 2011, Frappart has refereed matches in the Championnat National, the third division of men’s football in France.
