Social media is abuzz following sensational claims from popular influencer Peller, who alleges that streaming giant Netflix offered him ₦3 billion to cast his girlfriend, Jarvis, in a romantic scene involving a kiss.

Peller, known for his flamboyant persona and outspoken views, has built a large following online thanks to his dramatic storytelling and unapologetic stance on personal values. Often seen as a controversial figure, he frequently uses his platform to comment on pop culture and social issues, gaining admirers and critics. His posts are characterised by their emotional candour, making him a distinctive presence on the Nigerian influencer scene.

Jarvis, his girlfriend and frequent subject of his online affection, is admired for her reserved nature and striking presence. While not as publicly outspoken as Peller, Jarvis has captured attention for her poise and style, often appearing alongside Peller in photos and videos shared to his followers. According to Peller, he has made deliberate efforts to shield her from the more intrusive aspects of fame, citing his desire to protect her well-being.

The revelation came during a now-viral interview, in which an emotional Peller described the approach from “the Netflix people,” who, according to him, wanted his partner to play a role that required on-screen intimacy. Peller, visibly distressed, insisted that the proposal was unacceptable to him.

“They said they want to use my baby to do a kissing scene,” Peller stated during the interview. “They said three billion. Three billion! I mean… three million—no, three billion naira!”

Peller, known for his passionate public persona, stressed his commitment to protecting Jarvis from the pressures of the entertainment industry. He explained that he had intentionally distanced her from show business for her well-being.

“I don’t joke about her,” he continued. “I love my baby. I’m paying her good money. I don’t like that life.”

The influencer’s remarks have sparked heated debates online. Many question the authenticity of the claim, while others applaud his public display of affection and protectiveness.

The claims have since fueled intense discussion online, though Netflix has not made any public statements regarding the allegation.
