How do I find my NIN number?
National Identification Number (NIN) is issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
NIMC is the agency in Nigeria that oversees and operates Nigeria’s identity management systems.
Its services cover the enrolment and issuance of National Identification Number NIN, issuance of National e-ID, Identity verification, and data harmonization and authentication.
The National Identification Number NIN can be found on the National Identification card.
A lot of persons have asked the question how do I find my NIN number?
The National Identity Management Commission has provided an option to find NIN through a USSD code.

To retrieve your NIN through USSD Code, follow these steps.
1. on your phone dialer, dial *346#
Note: make sure you are using the number you used during the NIN registration.
2. Type “1” after the prompt.
You will be charged a service fee of N20. After that, you will receive your eleven (11) digit NIN via a text message.
To retrieve your NIN via the NIMC app.
Go to the google play store and download the NIMC mobile app if you are using a smartphone. Once you login into the app, you will find your NIN if you don’t want to spend N20 for that.
Following the directive to link all SIM cards to NIN, MTN has provided an easy way for its customers to do that without having to visit any of their service centers.
